This was the only picture I got on Christmas day, but he's cuter than the rest of us so it's okay I guess.
We spent Christmas with my family this year. We had Christmas Eve dinner with them the night before and I gave everyone their gift then, because we weren't planning on opening Christmas presents together. I think everyone was pleasantly surprised at the homes I drew for them, especially Caleb. As I've been doing them for all of my siblings, he kept telling me he wanted one of his parents house too. I kept telling him I didn't have time and that I would get to it after the holidays. What he didn't know is, I was staying up late working on his so he could open it up when everyone else did. I love giving him small surprises like that. I love Christmas.
We woke up Christmas morning and waited for Wes to wake up. When we heard him we raced to his room and grabbed him to open up the presents. It was so perfect. I love my little family. Once we were done, we got ready and headed to my parents for Benje's surprise. Marley passed away a few months ago and Karalee got him a new puppy! Benje's face was priceless when Remy ran in the room. The best part though, was Grandma and Grandpa Craven stayed up late making Wes his wood blocks. They put so much work into them and I was so grateful, plus Wes loves them so much already.
We ended the night with Wes in bed and us cuddled on the couch watching a Christmas movie.
How did I get so lucky?
