(eye roll ;)) he thought he looked at the boarding time, but looked a the departure time instead
(it's funny now, it wasn't then)
We were late for our flight. Caleb was frustrated all the way to the airport.
I kept telling him it was fine, we were going to make it.
We were until we had to wait for the bus to come through the parking lot and pick up everyone else.
We ran to check in our luggage, we had 15 minutes before out flight left.
They wouldn't accept our luggage because they were boarding the plane and told us we wouldn't make our flight.
That's when I started to freak a little. She pointed us down to someone that could help.
A kind old man told us there was a flight that was just a few hours later
and we would make our connecting flight.
He told us he would change our flight free of charge as long as we promised to fly delta our next trip! (it's usually a $200 dollar fee per ticket)
It was perfect.
Our hotel was facing the beach and the beach was in walking distance.
We spent everyday going to different beaches and snorkeling.
I HATE fish. I don't want them touching me or even getting close to them.
It's one of my biggest fears.
Caleb convinced me to go out everyday and I thought I was doing exceptionally well...
but then I saw a fish get murdered by another fish and I shoved Caleb into a sea turtle because the water was slightly murky and I could tell what the big blob was heading towards us. 10 points for a new wife sacrificing her husband. Luckily the sea turtle didn't kill him ;)
The one day we didn't go to the beach, we did the road to Hana. One of the most beautiful road trips I've ever taken. We saw beautiful waterfalls (no not like Stuart falls, right Cub? haha), bamboo
forests, black sand beaches, lava tubes, and the best pineapple I've ever eaten.
We didn't ever want to leave.
We're gonna miss it, especially the pancakes
I'm just grateful I get to bring Caleb HOME with me,
Cause you know, we're married now.
